Paper Presentation


We, at Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Pune are proud to organize ’Paper Presentation’ as a part of NIRMITEE for the 19th time. This is a national level competition intended to encourage among students, the technical knowledge of new technologies and ongoing research being carried out in the civil engineering field. Paper Presentation is a competition wherein the participants are expected to present the result of some scientific investigation or research within the given time limits. The topic may be supported by the result of some experimentation work; data acquired from various sources, etc. The oral presentation should be used with an effective way of communication. Slides, graphs, tables, images should be effectively used.



The selected participants will be presenting their work in front of the judges on 21st March 2018. Each team will get 10 mins for presentation and 05 mins for Q&A session.

Problem Statement:

The main theme this year, as mentioned below, containing all sub-heads related to the whole of Civil Engineering:

  1. Only under graduation, Post-graduation and diploma students from civil engineering departments of recognized institutions are eligible for participation in the event.
  2. A maximum of 2 students per team are allowed to present the paper.
  3. Participants from different institutions are allowed to form a team.
  4. Participants are required to send abstract in required format to our email address:
  5. Participants are required to present their paper at MIT Pune during Nirmitee 2018.
  6. The prescribed format must be followed failing which will result in disqualification of participants.
  7. Total time allotted for presentation is 10 minutes (A warning bell will be given at 8 minutes), followed by a question and answers round.
  8. The decision of judges will be final and binding to all.
  9. Participants must carry hard copy of respective presentation which has to be submitted.
  10. If anybody is interested in any topics other than those mentioned in the subheads can also submit the abstract of the same.
